Following Jesus is a blog inspired by my deep love for Jesus Christ and the way His deep love for me and for all of humanity stir my desire to follow the example of his life and ministry as closely as possible. It is my firm belief that the closer Christians, and thereby the Church, follow the authentic Way of Jesus, the closer the establishment of God’s Kingdom in Earth as in heaven will be. One thing is certain: the gospel of Jesus Christ rarely, if ever, supports the status quo, and its fundamental nature is disruptive and revolutionary.
My full-time career is as an elementary educator in Chicago, Illinois, and I love teaching, but my real passion is the infusion of the gospel and spirit of Christ into all areas of life. I have no doubt that walking closer with Jesus will transform society for the better because it will transform individuals and communities for the better.
